9170+ protects against spikes, sags, surges, noise, lightning, and power outages, with revolutionary technology (10 patents pending) exclusive to 9170+.

9170+ is a high-frequency, transformerless UPS with standard on-line operational modes of on-battery, double-conversion, and fault bypass, as well as a high-efficiency/power-saver mode, which offers additional savings.

9170+ adapts to changing IT environments by being scalable. Similar to disc storage hardware, 9170+’s built-in expansion slots accommodate additional power and battery modules.

To tailor your power protection to fit your unique application, 9170+ offers many internal and external options. Internal options include Galvanic Isolation, Line Cord, and Receptacles. External options include Rackmount Kit, Casters (standard on 9- & 12-slot), Extended Runtime Battery Cabinets/8+ hours, Wall-mounted Maintenance Bypass Cabinets, and Seismic Zone 4 Anchoring Kits.

Like network hubs, 9170+’s modular N+X power and logic redundancy gives it the highest level of reliability now and down the road, reducing the chance of single-point failure.

9170+ features two BestDockâ„¢ Communication Slots, which accept a variety of connectivity option cards for power management, including a BestLinkâ„¢ SNMP/WEB Adapter.

Two-year limited warranty against factory or workmanship defects; plus our "Double Lifetime" limited warranty to factory-repair UPS damage from lightning strikes, and covers up to US$25,000 for damage to connected equipment resulting from a spike or surge.
