The Devicemaster FreeWire is flexible, secure, rugged, and compatible serial device server. This latest addition to Comtrol's DeviceMaster family of serial device servers, enables communication to remote serial devices via 802.11g wireless or direct wired 10/100 Ethernet technologies. In addition to providing flexible connection options for use in the widest range of applications, the FreeWire offers the strongest wireless security available; ensuring compatibility with the most secure wireless standards employed in today's enterprise environments. Like other DeviceMaster products, the FreeWire is packaged in a rugged, galvanized, IP40 rated steel enclosure facilitating installation in a wide variety of environments. DeviceMaster FreeWire provides flexible connection options for use in a wide range of applications. For easy installation, the DeviceMaster FreeWire includes COM port redirector software for mapping local COM ports to the remote FreeWire serial connection, an extensive management and configuration utility, an integrated web server for remote configuration from any networked PC, Telnet, and serial console administration.
