Supports DisplayPort Alternate Mode for Transmitting Audio/Video Signals

By connecting the included Thunderbolt 4 cable to a source device that supports DisplayPort Alt Mode, you can output 8K/4K video and digital audio to a compatible monitor, television or projector without installing special software drivers.

Thunderbolt 4 Supports Blisteringly Fast 40 Gbps Data Transfer Speeds

The included Thunderbolt 4 cable supports bidirectional speeds up to 40 Gbps, which is eight times faster than USB 3.2 Gen 1, four times faster than Thunderbolt 1 and twice as fast as Thunderbolt 2. With dual 20 Gbps channels moving data both directions at the same time, the MTB4-DOCK01A is perfectly suited for 8K and 4K video streaming and editing on two monitors, as well as transferring large files. Because Thunderbolt 4 supports minimum PCIe (PCI Express) data rates of 32 Gbps (twice that of Thunderbolt 3), transferring large RAW video, Photoshop images or CAD files takes hardly any time at all.

DisplayPort Multi-Stream Transport (MST) Allows Connection of Multiple Displays

By connecting the included Thunderbolt 4 cable to a source that supports DisplayPort MST Mode, you may connect two displays simultaneously at resolutions of 8K @ 30 Hz plus 4K @ 60 Hz or both displays at 4K @ 60 Hz. This allows you to display the same image on both monitors, extend your host desktop across both with different windows open on each, or combine both into one large display as a video wall.

Cascade Up to 6 Thunderbolt Devices at Once

The downstream Thunderbolt 4 port lets you cascade Thunderbolt devices up to six levels vertically. It also supports 15W charging, as well as 8K video.

USB Ports Connect Keyboards, Thumb Drives and Other USB Peripherals

Four USB-A hub ports and one USB-C port accept USB peripherals, such as flash drives, mice, keyboards, external hard drives, webcams and printers. The USB-C port and two USB-A ports support USB 3.2 Gen 2 data transfer rates up to 10 Gbps. The other two USB-A ports support USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds up to 5 Gbps. The USB-C port supports Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 charging up to 30W (5V 3A, 9V 3A, 15V 2A, 20V 1.5A). The USB-A ports support charging up to 900mA (primarily for powering ports).

The RJ45 port offers access to a 2.5 Gbps Ethernet network when Wi-Fi is unavailable or when a wired connection offers faster speeds. Connect using a UTP cable (sold separately), and enjoy true 2.5G Ethernet speeds for fast data transfers.

This Thunderbolt 4 docking station has one 3.5 mm mini stereo jack, convenient for connecting speakers, headphones or a microphone to your workstation. You can listen to music or record the latest episode of your podcast.

Allows External Memory Access

The memory card slots support SD 4.0 and TF 4.0 cards for transferring data to and from your connected computer or laptop. Both slots may be used at the same time.
