The Vertiv Geist Rack Transfer Switch VA4U21A0 is a 16A/20A, 120V/208V/230V, single phase unit level monitored rPDU with (12) Combination C13/C19 outlets and (2) C20 inlet providing 1.9kW/3.3kW/3.6kW power capacity. This unit provides backup power to single-corded devices and helps ensure continuity in the event of power loss. It quickly detects power loss on the main source and automatically switches to the secondary source within less than 4 to 8 milliseconds. It is integrated with the Vertiv Geist Next-Generation IMD which displays power data via its 128x128 high-visibility LCD. It has an internal sensor that intelligently adjusts the orientation based on horizontal or vertical installation. This includes a redundant power-sharing port that connects two IMDs in the rack and provides backup power in case of power loss. Enhanced security with a secure boot is added to the device to help ensure data and operations are protected. The units are CE Marked, comply with IEC 60950-1 (CB Certificate Available), RoHS certified, and are individually tested for functionality and reliability.
