The DisplayPort connector looks very similar to the HDMI connector, but they have distinctly different characteristics. Not only physically but performance wise as well. DisplayPort 1.4 supports up to 8K at 60Hz and HDR, whereas you would need to use HDMI 2.1 to support 10K at 120Hz and HDR with dynamic metadata and enhance eARC. Don't forget to check if your display and video card can support HDMI 2.1!
