The N238-SHC8-TF-1 is essential for future-proofing your Gigabit or 10G applications with more affordable, more flexible 25G and 40G Ethernet Cat8 premise wiring in data center, cloud computing or PoE++ applications. It is compatible with surface-mount boxes and other hardware, such as N082-012-WH (sold separately).

It is also specifically designed to prevent spark-gap erosion that degrades the plug and jack contacts over time and can negatively influence data and/or power transmission capabilities.
