The FOX3 will dramatically simplify your logistics, installation, and post-installation support. Newly developed Premium Features show the way to the future of mobile data logging, storing, processing, and sending. FOX3 is a configurable smart tracking/data logging device that can be adapted fully to user requirements. FOX3 also offers new features like data Encryption, several History Modes, Eco-Drive/Behavior, Data Logging, and GSM/GPS jamming detection, besides standard items like status reports, alerts messaging, audio calls, spy calls, or geofencing. All models are expandable via IOBOX-MINI, IOBOX-CAN, and IOBOX-WLAN.

Interfaces & communication

The FOX3 offers an extensive wired interface such as USB 2.0, RS-232, RS-485, CAN, OBDII, configurable I/O's; and wireless communication channels: SMS, TCP, UDP, HTTP, Email TCP client, quickly adapting to your application requirements.

Built-in antennas

For enhanced security, the built-in internal antennas will automatically turn on if the external antennas are disconnected. The FOX3 can also operate with the internal antenna only if exterior antenna installation is not practical.

Alerts and reports

The FOX3 provides periodic speed reports, multiple over-speed alerts/thresholds, duration/counters, and a combination of speed data with coordinates, date, time, heading, and other parameters. These statistics on driving behavior allow you to make decisions and increase safety, reducing maintenance and fuel consumption.

Geo-fencing

The FOX3 enables up to 3,000 geofences (circular/rectangular), 32 areas (selective, combination), and one parking area (circular). Users can set up alerts and notifications when entering/exiting geofences. It enhances protection against theft and optimizes monitoring of your fleet.

Eco-drive

Eco-drive is a GNSS-based feature with a sophisticated algorithm developed by Lantronix. Eco-drive will provide the fleet administrator information on fuel consumption (l/100km), CO2 emission (g/km), driving behavior (abrupt brake/acceleration/turn), and over-speed and generates a scorecard for vehicle drivers. Using the FOX3 Eco-drive feature results in better driver education, less risk of accidents, and reduced fuel consumption, saving money.

Power management

The FOX3 has multi-configurable power-saving and sleep modes and even a battery smart charge & monitoring feature (temperature, state, voltage). Using the "Doze mode" (CPU and GNSS hibernate; GSM on), the "auto mode" (GSM, GNSS, CPU stand-by depending on load) will result in reduced power consumption, preventing the vehicle battery from draining and extended operating time.
