VIKING ELECTRONICS PA-250 250 Watt Telecom Paging Amplifier

The Viking PA-250 is powerful enough to drive up to 250 - 70V speakers or paging horns. The Viking PA-250 is 3 times more efficient than old designs competitors use. A small 1U rack size made possible because the Viking PA-250 uses new amplifier technology. High efficiency means much less heat dissipation.

The ability to put more speakers on a wire run, longer wire runs, smaller gauge wire, and being able to set the volume of each speaker independently. Makes the 70V distributed audio paging systems more cost effective.

Connect to any type of analog telecom interface, like a Paging Port, Trunk Input, Analog Station, FXO (Loop Start), and FXS (Ring Trip), The Viking PA-250 also includes a direct microphone input for paging.

The Viking PA-250 has other inputs, Background Music, Aux Input. The Viking PA-250 has a variety of Loud Ringing and Chime options. A 600-ohm output allows additional paging amplification to be added for an even larger system. Other features include individual level controls with LED indicators for each input, automatic peak limiting, multiple amplifier protection modes, adjustable Automatic Level Control, Bass, and Treble controls.

Touch tone programming allows users to program input priorities, pre-page alert tones, three different chime sounds, and numerous telecom settings for universal telecom system compatibility.
