The Vertiv Geist Switched Rack PDU VP8965 is a 30A, 120/208V WYE 0U vertical rack power distribution unit (PDU) with input power monitoring and outlet level switching. The VP8965 has 18 IEC C13 and 6 IEC C19 locking receptacles and a NEMA L21-30P plug providing 8.6kW of power capacity. This Switched rPDU allows you to turn off receptacles to avoid accidental overloads and power cycle equipment remotely to reboot unresponsive critical IT equipment. The hot-swappable Interchangeable Monitoring Device (IMD) displays current on the local LED display. It also supports Visible Light Communication (VLC) technology so you can view complete power usage data from a mobile device with the Vertiv rPDU Scanner application. The IMD includes ports for serial communication, environmental monitoring, and dual ethernet ports. Simplify management of multiple PDUs with fault-tolerant daisy chaining or IP aggregation capabilities.
