The iConverter 100Fx/Tx manageable media converter is a member of the modular iConverter product family. It provides 100Base-Tx UTP to 100Base-Fx Fiber conversion. This iConverter 100Fx/Tx is available single-mode. It support ST connector. The UTP port supports 100Base-Tx in either half or full duplex mode. A UTP crossover switch eliminates the need for a crossover cable and facilitates connectivity to network equipment such as hubs, switches and workstations.

The iConverter 100BASE-FX/TX manageable media converter is a member of the modular iConverter product family. It provides 100BASE-TX UTP to 100BASE-FX Fiber conversion.

iConverter 100BASE-FX/TX model comes with ST connectors. The UTP port supports 100BASE-TX in either half or full duplex mode. A UTP crossover switch eliminates the need for a crossover cable and facilitates connectivity to network equipment such as hubs, switches and workstations.

The 100BASE-FX/TX features user-selectable Link Propagate, Link Segment and Remote Fault Detection modes to facilitate quick fault detection, isolation, and reporting. The 100BASE-FX/TX also features iRedundancy mode, which allows two pairs of modules to provide a redundant fiber connection between two network devices. Like all iConverter modules, the 100BASE-FX/TX is hot swappable and supports three mounting options. It can be mounted in a 19-Unit, 2U (3.5 inch) high, space-saving 19-inch rack-mountable chassis with any combination of triple-redundant AC or 48VDC power supplies. It can also be mounted in a 2-Unit AC or 48VDC powered chassis or in a 1-Unit AC powered chassis.

The iConverter family is an In-Band or Out-of-Band SNMP-managed media converter family. Supporting 10, 100, 10/100, Gigabit Ethernet, T1/E1, OC-3 and OC-12 technologies, the iConverter family is suitable for LAN and MAN networks where copper to fiber, multimode fiber to single-mode fiber, or dual-fiber to single fiber conversions are required.
