Add Touch Tone Capability to PABX Consoles
The HD-1 Handset Dialer is a universal keypad Touch Tone generator capable of providing DTMF signaling.

The HD-1 permits access via DTMF signaling to beepers, voice mail and banking services from phone system consoles or other equipment which cannot provide Touch Tones. The HD-1 is easily installed in series with modular handsets and headsets or interfaces directly to Tip and Ring.

The CPC-1 will generate a CPC disconnect signal on a PABX analog station (or any other line that does not provide this signal).

A CPC (Calling Party Control) signal is a momentary break in phone line loop current, which is used to signal automated telco equipment (ie. voice mail, call sequencers, etc.) that the distant party has hung up. Central Office telephone lines typically provide this signal, but analog PABX stations do not.

The CPC-1 will generate a 1 second disconnect when it detects a busy signal, reorder tones (fast busy), return to dial tone, or silence.

The RC-3 enables a standard Touch Tone phone to control up to 3 maintained ON, maintained OFF, or momentary relay contacts from a remote location. The RC-3 is fully user programmable and uses nonvolatile E2 memory.

Up to three RC-3's can be daisy chained on the same line to control up to nine relays.

The RC-3 features switchable 32V talk battery allowing easy installation on a trunk port. In addition, the unit can be connected directly to a C.O. line or analog PABX/KSU station.

The E-1600-20A ADA Compliant Emergency Phone is designed to provide quick and reliable handsfree communication for any standard analog telephone line or analog phone system station port. The E-1600-20A meets ADA requirements for elevator emergency phones / emergency telephones, and can be programmed from any touch tone phone. The Help button can dial up to 5 programmable emergency numbers, as well as 2 central station numbers. The Info button can dial up to 3 non-emergency numbers

The E-1600-20A can be programmed to automatically deliver a digital announcement to identify the location of the emergency call. Additionally, a DTMF touch tone code may also be delivered. A "Call Connected" LED can be initiated manually or automatically. All programming parameters, including phone numbers and location numbers, are stored in non-volatile memory. The E-1600-20A is phone line powered, requiring no batteries or external power and is compatible with common Central Station Monitoring equipment.

The K-1900-5 will automatically dial a preprogrammed number, of up to 32 digits, whenever an associated telephone is taken off hook. Using nonvolatile E2 memory, the K-1900-5 is telephone line powered and will operate on any loop start central office line or analog PABX/KSU extension.

Cost Effective Speakers for Indoor and Outdoor Use

The 25AE and 30AE paging speakers provide additional economical paging coverage to existing Viking paging units (PA-2A, CPA-7B, HF-3W, M2W) or to any system with an 8 ohm output.

In outdoor, factory or warehouse environments, 25AE paging horns are the best method of producing understandable sound. In these environments, the directional design allows the installer to focus the sound cone down aisles and toward work areas.

In office and restaurant environments, it is best to distribute sound more evenly. Ceiling mounted 30AE speakers in close proximity offer the best distribution and are cost effective environments. The AES-2000 Accessible Entry system provides voice messages and help instructions to assist people with various disabilities. The large .5 inch high character display shows the directory of the people in the building, and also displays directions and message prompts. A built in voice recorder can also provide a verbal message. If the EZ Access button is pressed, information on how to use the system is displayed and announced.

The built in directory can handle up to 525 names and phone numbers. Once an apartment is selected, the AES-2000 dials the pre-programmed apartment phone number and provides two way communication. If the proper Touch Tone command is entered at the apartment phone, a door strike can be activated.

The SR-1 will generate loud ringing from an analog ringing line or from a dry contact closure. There are 4 different ringing sounds to choose from. Loudness is easily adjusted with a volume control and test button.

The SR-1's unique sounding rings are useful for employees that often work away from their desks, allowing them to instantly recognize when their phone is ringing. A second set of contact inputs will trigger a door chime (doorbell) sound. This can be used to notify that a door has opened or used as a door bell or push for assistance button.

The SR-1 is easy to install and comes complete with a power supply and connections for an optional external speaker.

Designed to address a variety of apartment entry applications, Viking C-3000 Entry System provides secure multi-tenant building access, without the need for CO lines; the only requirement is that each tenant have a touch-tone telephone set wired to their apartment. Conversely, the C-3000 performs equally as well in installations where CO lines are present. An individual C-3000 module has a 12-tenant capacity; for larger applications, a maximum of eight (8) C-3000 modules can be interconnected, allowing a total system capacity of up to 96 tenants. A C-3000 system consists of at least one Master C-3000 module, and as many as seven Slave modules.
