The DataPort 5+ is designed for hard disk drives operating at 7200 rpm and above. It has a cast aluminum alloy metal frame and carrier, which provides excellent thermal management and reduces operating temperatures by up to 30%. The DataPort 5+ supports IDE ATA-133, Ultra Narrow SCSI and Ultra160 interfaces. Standard features included a MagLev cooling fan with CRU's patented Temperature Controlled Cooling System (TCCS), gold-plated DIN connectors, and key lock security.
