With the U442-DOCK8G-GG2, you can transmit 8K video or 4K video with digital audio to multiple displays, add a thumb drive and other USB peripherals, connect to a wired Gigabit Ethernet network, and power and charge your host device, all at the same time. It's recommended for work-from-anywhere pros who need more screens, fast data speeds and reliable wired networking in a travel-friendly design.

Supports USB-C DisplayPort Alternate Mode for Converting Audio/Video Signals

By connecting the built-in USB-C cable to a source device that supports USB DisplayPort (DP) Alt Mode 1.4 and DSC (Display Stream Compression), you can output 4K/60 Hz video to a USB-C display and 4K/30 Hz video to two HDMI displays simultaneously. This lets you multitask, view multiple Word or Excel documents side by side and enhance other creative tasks using multiple hi-res displays. All three video ports support 4:4:4 chroma subsampling, 36-bit Deep Color and HDCP 2.3. When used alone, the USB-C port supports 8K/30 Hz or 4K/144 Hz for streaming video or editing media files.

USB Ports Connect Keyboards, Thumb Drives and Other Peripherals

Two USB-A hub ports accept USB peripherals, such as flash drives, mice, keyboards and printers. One supports fast USB 3.2 Gen 1 data transfer rates up to 5 Gbps and is backward compatible with earlier USB generations. The other port supports USB 2.0 speeds up to 480 Mbps. The USB-C port also supports USB 3.2 Gen 1 speeds when not being used to transmit video.

PD Charging Port Charges the Connected Host Device

The USB-C port supports Power Delivery (PD) 3.0 charging of the connected PD charging-compliant device. Connect the device's AC wall charger to the USB-C PD port, which supports power input up to 20V 5A (100W). Fast Role Swap functionality ensures the host will not get disconnected when removing it from the power source.

Accesses a Wired Gigabit Ethernet Network

The RJ45 port offers access to a Gigabit Ethernet network when Wi-Fi is unavailable or when a wired connection offers faster speeds or more stable performance. Connect using a Cat6 24 AWG Ethernet cable (sold separately), and enjoy true 1 Gbps speeds for fast data transfers.

Allows External Memory Access

The memory card slots support Micro SD and SD/MMC cards for transferring data to and from your connected computer, laptop or tablet. Both card slots can be used at the same time.
