Quiktron Media Converters are packaged in high-quality ruggedized packages that operate over a wide temperature range. The quality electronics also ensure reliable link connections with virtually no fuss, and years of dependable service. They can be used as standalone devices or conveniently mounted in two rackmountable enclosures. The rack-mountable enclosures are available in a 1u (1.75" high) or 3u (5.25" high) model that can accommodate 4 or 12 media converters.

A variety of built-in features include auto negotiation, UTP auto MDI/MDI-X switching, status LED's, and loopback testing. These features greatly reduce time spent troubleshooting during deployment. Available in multiple options (based on the type of fiber required) including: Ethernet protocol, redundancy, and optical connector type.
