With minimum cost and complexity, the Intellinet Network Solutions Industrial Gigabit Media Converter and PoE++ Injector offers the network designer a way to migrate from copper-based Ethernet to fiber Ethernet or to expand an existing network. The Converter is completely transparent to the network, so the network performs exactly the way it did before, only now it can support both copper and fiber media. It can achieve building-to-building connectivity without the need for the cost and disruption associated with the installation of additional routers.

More capable with Power over Ethernet

The media converter brings power to where there is none, which helps avoid the need to hire an electrician and run electrical lines. And because the converter supports the IEEE 802.3bt / 802.3at / 802.3af standard, up to 90 watts are available, even for power-hungry PoE++ devices like motorized PTZ cameras, thin clients, point-of-sale systems, lighting controllers and digital signage applications.

Equipped even for challenging environmental conditions

With its rugged, protective, IP30-rated metal housing, the converter operates reliably, even in extreme temperatures from -40 - 75°C (-40 - 167°F). In combination with its DIN-rail mounting option and a DC power input with plenty of other safety features, this converter is ideal for IoT applications in Industry 4.0 and more.
