Power-cycle equipment remotely on a named Outlet Group without having to reach out and instruct someone on site to manage your UPS. Includes all features of Standard plan.
What is the SmartConnect Advanced plan?
TThe SmartConnect Advanced plan builds on the Standard plan by adding enhanced remote control capabilities for your Smart-UPS. The Advanced Plan enables remote power cycling of the UPS and outlet groups, allowing you to reboot connected IT equipment without being on site. It also supports load shedding and provides preconfigured outlet group visualization, making it easier to manage and prioritize power distribution through a more intuitive user experience. These capabilities help reduce downtime, minimize on-site interventions, and speed up issue resolution.
How can I access the SmartConnct Advanced Plan?
Access SmartConnect through the web portal and register your Smart-UPS device. All eligible devices include a free trial of the Standard plan, and you can upgrade to the Advanced plan at any time. Upgrading unlocks additional control features, including remote power cycling, load shedding, and outlet group management, helping you better manage and optimize essential and non-essential loads on your Smart-UPS.
What products are eligible for the SmartConnect Standard and Advanced plans?
Advanced plan is an upgrade of the Standard plan and is available for 1-3 kVA Smart-UPS models with a built-in Ethernet port (identified by a "C" in the part number), including SMC, SMT, SMX, SCL, SMTL, and SRTL ranges.
