Vantec NST-D209C3-BK NexStar SX USB3.2 Gen2x1 Type C M.2 NVMe SATA SSD Dock

The USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Type C M.2 NVMe/SATA SSD Dock is a new addition to the NexStar SX Series. This Dock unique function allows you to use two types of M.2 module. You can use M.2 NVMe or M.2 SATA Module even when both are using a very different protocol. This flexibility removes the worry of putting the wrong module or having to purchase two enclosures just for two different types of modules. To swap the module is easy, just pull back the quick lock/unlock Rubber Mount and easily swap the module. If you are using a smaller M.2 (80/60/42mm) size, it is easy to change the Rubber Mount. The width of the dock is wide; you can mount any heatsink mounted M.2 with a width of 26mm. The power button allows for easy disconnection from the system for hot-swapping of the module without unplugging the USB cable. For the need for ultra-fast speed and mix M.2 modules, this dock is equipped with a USB 3.2 Gen 2x1 Bridge controller for 10Gbps (theoretical speed) to get it done.
