The Vertiv Avocent HMX6500R is a high performance KVM receiver that delivers KVM and Virtual Machine (VM) access without requiring additional hardware or compromise on KVM functionality. Users can switch instantly between unlimited virtual and physical machines or gives users instant access to take control of unlimited sources directly from their own individual workstation. By incorporating Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) protocols into the receiver, the Avocent HMX6500R allows all operators to access all machines in a more efficient way. Instead of adding a new transmitter every time a user needs access to a new virtual session, an administrator can easily configure the management system to enable permissions. It is ideal for demanding applications such as broadcast, control rooms, and collaborative environments.
