Infection Control for the Clinical Desktop | Key Features
Description
Designed for infection control, the KSI-1700 SX is a hospital-grade, disinfectable keyboard with our integrated, patented LinkSmart® cleaning button. The keyboard features a durable surface with low-profile keys that discourage the collection of dirt and germs beneath and around keys.
A simple push of KSI's LinkSmart® cleaning button is all it takes to temporarily disable keys while an end user disinfects the keyboard surface with EPA-approved germicidal wipes. San-a-Key® software's onscreen, animated keyboard schematic then guides keyboard cleaning until the entire surface is clean. Within a set user-defined "germ kill time," keys are re-engaged for resumption of normal input. Scheduled cleaning options and pop-up reminders pushed to all desktops ensure KSI keyboards are kept clean 24/7. Now hospital administrators know when, where and by whom KSI keyboards are cleaned on an enterprise-wide, real-time basis.
KSI-1700 SX is a complete desktop infection control keyboard monitoring system for clinicians and hospital administrators.
