Bridge multimode and singlemode fiber networks with this high-performance 100-Mbps Fast Ethernet mode converter. The LMC250A-LH converts 100-Mbps multimode fiber (1300 nm, up to 5 km) to 100-Mbps singlemode fiber (1300 nm, up to 58 km), enabling seamless long-distance connectivity across mixed fiber infrastructures.

Because multimode and singlemode fibers differ in core size and light transmission characteristics, they cannot be directly connected. This converter acts as a signal translator, receiving optical data from one fiber type and retransmitting it to match the specifications of the other ensuring reliable communication across your network.
