Featuring an innovative virtual chassis technology, the OmniSwitch 6600 allows administrators to configure and manage a stack of up to eight switches just as if it were an eight-slot chassis switch. For secure management, many features are integrated into the architecture including authenticated user access, SNMPv3 and SSL for encrypted sessions, and partitioned administrator management. The OmniSwitch 6600 offers an ideal solution for workgroups, edge applications, IP telephony and LAN wiring closets. Optimized for voice and data integration, the OmniSwitch 6600 provides non-blocking multi-Gigabit Ethernet capacity, multi-layer security, carrier-class availability, and intelligent switching and routing services - all at wire speed.
