The ComNet™ CWFE8TX8MS Managed Ethernet Switch provides transmission of 100 BASE-TX Ethernet data. These units are available for use with conventional CAT-5e copper transmission media. Up to 8 electrical ports are available for easily implementing point-to-point, linear add-drop, drop-and-repeat, star or true self-healing ring and mesh network system architectures. The electrical ports support the 10/100 Mbps (100 BASE-TX) Ethernet IEEE 802.3 protocol, and auto-negotiating and auto-MDI/MDIX features are provided for simplicity and ease of installation. Plug-and-play design ensures ease of installation, and no electrical adjustments are ever required. The CWFE8TX8MS incorporates LED indicators for monitoring the operating status of the managed switch and network. This switch can be mounted within any standard 19-inch equipment rack using the ComNet RMB Rack Mount Bracket Adaptor Kit (sold separately).
