The Pro Switching System Plus is an intelligent, high-density KVM system consisting of a chassis and interface cards, offering exceptional operational flexibility and performance.

Flexible, Protocol-Agnostic Switching

The system achieves maximum versatility by performing Layer 1 switching, meaning it operates independently of data rates, protocols, and signal formats. This allows you to integrate both modern and legacy technologies; for example, you can support CAT6 10-GbE networking while maintaining connections for older RS-232 and 75-ohm video.

For secure, fail-safe operation, the system uses proprietary micro-mirror or latching relay switching. Data can continue to pass through even if power is completely cut off.

Centralized Control and Scalability

You can switch one card individually or gang switch the entire rack. The system is scalable, capable of daisy-chaining multiple chassis to control up to 4080 individual ports.

The Controller Card is essential for management, taking up two slots in the chassis. It enables both local front-panel switching and remote control. You can choose intelligent models with an RS-232 serial controller or an SNMP-based Ethernet controller, which includes GUI Switchcenter software. These options allow switching from anywhere in the world via IP or serial connection. A keyed switch on the chassis prevents unauthorized manual switching.

Interface cards are available for various connections, including RS-232, video, fiber, CAT5, and CAT6. Additionally, specialized power modules allow you to manage power for backup networks or set up redundant power supplies.
