Athena Power RM-4UD438B Chassis

Convenience is a needed necessity for server engineers and system designers.  Athena Power has taken that into consideration as they combined their Smart LCD display function with a 4U rackmount and their space saving design.  The 4UD438B has a depth of 15? this rackmount can fit up to standard ATX motherboards and include up to a maximum of 12 HDDs, not only that it also is compatible with mini- redundant power supplies.  With all the necessary combinations this 4^th installment of the smart series provides maximum functions and solutions for all server designers and ITs.

Smart Function

The 4U438B offers a new front LED display that will assist with managing server maintenance.  The blue display screen will check the start-up time of the server, the status of all installed HDDs, system temperature, and the rate of speed of the system fan.  The smart function helps save energy by adjusting the use of the fans installed in the rackmount.  The 4U offers 1x 120mm fan but is able to install optional 2x 60mm rear fans, the smart feature will at default run 1x fan at 30 degrees Celsius and run dual fans at 40. 

Mini-Redundant Compatible

It is finally here, one of the first of its kind.  The RM-4U438B rackmount case is now fully compatible with mini-redundant power supplies.  This entails more reliable and protected power for all heavy duty servers.  With an additional steel bracket to support PS2 power supplies, this rackmount is optimized for server engineers and ITs to install the highest quality products in the PSU field.

Compatibility

Having extra depth and space makes it easier for this 4U to include different motherboard form factors.  With its flexibility the rackmount is compatible with Micro ATX (9.6" x 9.6"), and ATX (12" x 10").

Detachable Front Bezel Easy Server Rackmount Maintenance

Attached to the front of the rackmount is a removable front bezel that is accompanied with a washable filter included within the interior of the rackmount, it helps ease cleaning and reduces time spent on maintenance on server builds.  Positioned at the front of the system head, this filter helps guard against dust & dirt that may cause harm to your server system. 

Vibration Reduction

Industrial servers are usually on 24/7 and because of the heavy duty loads, vibrations may ripple through the server system.  To protect HDDs and create a stable hold on server hard drives, rubber stoppers are mounted on the rackmount?s 3.5? bays.  These stoppers help absorb the vibrations caused by heavy loads within servers and can help maintain longevity for hard drives reducing server down time.
